Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Revealed!
Skoda has officially announced the Kushaq facelift with a fresh appearance and a few much-awaited upgrades. The costs of the Kushaq facelift will be published in March 2026. The pre-bookings for the SUV have begun. Skoda has also released 3 new colours: Shimla Green, Steel Grey and Cherry Red. Skoda is providing the SUV in 5 variants: Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. So, let’s have a look at the upgrades that Skoda has introduced to the Kushaq facelift.
Vehicle Design

The facelift comes with a large amount of cosmetic improvements, giving the Kushaq a sharper and sportier design. Now, the Kushaq gets linked LED DRLs, a new headlight system, a new grille design, aggressive front bumpers and side air vents upfront. Skoda has offered a new alloy wheel design for both the Monte Carlo and Prestige models. The rear end has also undergone major changes over the standard model. The SUV now gets an all-new LED taillight and a connected strip across the boot.
Front & Back Light Design

A new back-lit Skoda emblem further enhances the rear look. It also gets a new rear bumper. The internal layout is more or less the same, with a few slight alterations to the colour scheme. That said, Skoda has done a terrific job with the design update, and the Kushaq now looks even sportier and more aggressive.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift – Interior

While Skoda has missed out on a few crucial elements like ADAS and a 360-degree camera, the firm has also brought in a pretty unusual function. For instance, for the first time in its market or in fact any segment up to Rs 50 lakh, the Kushaq is the first to get massage seats in the rear. The next car to get massaging seats is the Skoda Kodiaq, although even that gets massaging front seats. Skoda has also offered new amenities like a panoramic sunroof, rear disc brakes, an amplifier, a subwoofer and much more.
Powertrain of Skoda Kushaq

Skoda has left no page unturned and has introduced a new transmission with its smaller TSI engine. The Kushaq receives 2 engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (114bhp & 178Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (148bhp & 250Nm). The 1.0-litre TSI now gets a new 8-speed TC, replacing the earlier 6-speed TC. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre TSI engine remains to be complemented with the notorious 7-speed DSG. The 1.5-litre TSI vehicles will be supplied with all-wheel disc brakes for enhanced stopping power. That said, the new Kushaq does seem like a terrific package now!
